Racing Talent Edward Pearson sponsored by global paint manufacturer SHERWIN-WILLIAMS

The Sherwin-Williams Company, a global manufacturer of paint and coatings, will sponsor young racer Edward Pearson during the 2023 GB3 Championship season. In this second season of sponsorship, Sherwin-Williams continues its commitment to supporting young talent across various industries with focus on leadership development and next-level performance.

At only 16 years old, Pearson holds an impressive racing track record. Last year, he drove in the ROKiT Formula 4 British Championship, achieving 17 top-ten results, and a season highlight of two fifth-place finishes at the last race of the season, Brands Hatch. In 2023, Pearson will race with Fortec Motorsport, marking a significant development in his career.

Paul Buckingham, Market Manager – United Kingdom, Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Division, said: “We’re extremely excited to be supporting Edward’s career and growth. His outstanding performance during his 2022 British Formula 4 debut season and beyond led him to achieve multiple top-ten positions. We can’t wait to see him reach new heights this year.”

This season’s grid will consist of 20+ young and experienced drivers alike, competing for the 2023 GB3 Championship crown. The first race will take place on Easter weekend, 7th–10th April 2023, at Oulton Park (International) in Cheshire, England.
